  • Dr. Sarah Scimeme is a licensed clinical psychologist in both New York and New Jersey, specializing in complex posttraumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) in adolescents and adults, with a secondary expertise in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. In her time away from the office, she works to advocate for all those in need of mental health support through a variety of innovative lectures, panel discussions, and clinical programs. She also works as a consultant to assist with challenging cases across the region. As a parent herself, Dr. Scimeme is especially inspired to conduct extensive research on postpartum depression, perinatal mood disorders, and chronic anxiety.
